In 1957 Errol John beat over 2,000 other writers to win the Observer Award for Best New Playwright with his Trinidadian drama “Moon on a Rainbow Shawl.”

Set in Port of Spain, Trinidad at the end of World War II, Errol John’s Classic and Award Winning play takes a look at the lives of our rainbow people and how quickly things can change in three short days.
