PRESS FOR PROGRESS
At a time when women’s voices are soaring around the world, International Women’s Day will be observed worldwide on March 8th, 2018, through an abundance of diverse initiatives that celebrate women’s achievements, potential, Solidarity and Empowerment. In Trinidad and Tobago, Women.Everywhere will host its 2nd Edition of International Women’s Week Trinidad and Tobago, from March 5th – March 11th, 2018.
In its 2nd Edition of International Women’s Week Trinidad and Tobago, Women. Everywhere. will incorporate this year’s International Women’s Day theme, “Press for Progress” by renewing the call for true Progress through greater Diversity, Solidarity and Inclusion in all aspects of our societies.
IWWTT 2018 will highlight the achievements of Women and historical milestones toward progress, with an entire week of activities around International Women’s Day on Thursday, March 8th, 2018.
Women.Everywhere. believes in the power of a few persons to make a difference, and even change the world. Each citizen is an actor in their environment, with the potential to transform the societal landscape on all levels: economically, politically, culturally.
This is why on the occasion of International Women’s Day, Women.Everywhere will recognize the intrinsic worth and potential of the girls and women in our lives, in our society – everywhere.
