The Emancipation Support Committee of Trinidad and Tobago (ESCTT) in collaboration with Fashion Focus, presents an evening of African Fashion, an event geared towards showcasing work from local designers as well as designers from the African continent under the central theme “Qurux Africa”, Somali for “African Beauty”.
A wide range of traditional and contemporary African designs will be on display in various categories such as evening wear, business, casual and swimwear among many other styles. Designers in the lineup for the event include:

- Lecthris Holder showcasing designs from Liberia
Pop up booths will also be on display, exhibiting traditional African accessories, jewellery, craft, food and much more.
ESCTT uses this production and the likes as a reminder of the resilience and creativity of people of African decent and their ability to prosper even in times of adversity.
