FIRST SOLO EXHIBITION BY SABRINA CHARRAN

ABOUT THE SHOW

LOVEHATE

“My first solo exhibition is an exhibition of paintings with a perspective born out of a personal journey. The work speaks of inertia induced by love and hate as seen through the eyes of a victim of this symbiotic union. Unable to move in any direction emotionally, I was left questioning Einstein’s definition of insanity (doing the same thing over and over again and expecting different results), I’ve constructed this narrative; paintings with repetitive compositions but with manipulated colours to form these intimate illustrations of figures inspired by real and imagined relationships, all hinged upon a common dichotomy……LOVEHATE.” Sabrina Charran 2015
