The 2 Cents Movement held their SWRD 101: Foundations in Spoken Word Poetry Class in July/August of this year, and on September 8th would be showcasing the graduating class for an evening of fine poetry!

The 5 week course is intended to guide students toward the refinement of the art and practice of spoken word poetry, and is designed for professionals interested in best practices for the business of the craft. The goal is to introduce spoken word not only as an art form, but also as a transformative path towards self-discovery.
