The Trinidad & Tobago Film Festival presents a screening of “The Absent House”. The film is a portrait of Fernando Abruña Charneco, a designer from Puerto Rico and a pioneer of green architecture. He confronts climate change with sustainable constructions such as a roofless house that is independent of power and water utilities, a micro-eco-house on wheels and a solar-electric car.

This screening takes place in association with Sustain T&T – Sustainable Living In Trinidad and Tobago and will be followed by a panel discussion.

The panel includes architects Mandilee Newton and Jenifer Smith, as well as Renewable Energy Engineer Ian Smart. The Q&A will be moderated by architect Gillian Fraser.

Limited tickets for this screening will be available from the Box Office at Little Carib Theatre at $30.00
Run time: 55 minutes
