The trinidad+tobago film festival invites you to the CARNIVAL FILM SERIES 2015 starting from January 17th to 25th 2015.
On January 17th, 6:30pm at UWI FILM STUDIO, ttff/15 presents in association with the UWI UWI St. Augustine: Film Programme the first of our 4-part Carnival Film Series is about to begin.
Calypso Dreams
Directors’ Geoffrey Dunn and Michael Horne’s chronicle of the rich and complex cultural roots of calypso music in Trinidad and Tobago. Plus, we pay tribute to Brian Honore, one of this country’s most popular Midnight Robber on the 10th anniversary of his passing with Robbertalk a Yao Ramesar film and Midnight Robber performance by his son Fedon Honore. Also showing Living Legacies: Trains in Trinidad; and Clay and Dirt Ovens in T&T – two short documentaries produced with the support of the Ministry of National Diversity and Social Integration.
