chromatics

Chromatics will be performing live alongside some of Trinidad & Tobago’s most talented artists at the Big Black Box!

Chromatics, known as the premiere hip-hop artiste of Trinidad & Tobago, is one of the most recognizable brands in the Caribbean.

With a resume spanning over 15 years in the music industry, he has taken T&T Hip-Hop to new heights, setting a precedent for this genre in Trinidad & Tobago. Breaking ground locally, Matics has produced some of the most memorable songs, events, concerts and radio programmes that not only boosted his career and awareness, but created a platform and voice benefitting young and upcoming artistes.

Chromatics is the first Hip-Hop artist to ever sign a major endorsement deal as a brand ambassador for a major corporate company (Angostura LLB 2014) – and has represented Trinidad & Tobago by performing internationally at numerous showcases and festivals around the world; NXNE – North By Northeast (Toronto), Virgin Atlantic Music Festival (Barbados), Trinity International Hip-Hop Festival (Connecticut) and performed at legendary music venues like S.O.B’s and Nuyorican’s Poets Café in New York City.

Having already released two (2) singles for 2016; namely “Bitter” and “Show’em How to Rap”, Chromatics is far from done. Releasing his first collab for the year with young, female rapper Deandra “Rapscallion” Joshua, this versatile rapper/artiste promises more collabs and surprises to come before the end of the year, with at least two (2) more tracks which showcases his hybrid skills and Caribbean culture.
