This year, the 4th Ghetto Biennale of Haiti will have its own community and international radio station, broadcast directly from an inner city shanty in Haiti. It’s name? Radyo Shak : a collaboration with Clocktower Radio, Brooklyn USA.
Based in a shack in Port-au-Prince, Clocktower’s Radyo Shak airs freeform radio in the bidonville, including Rara bands, interviews with locals, artists, and writers, project updates, and Haitian revolutionary history!
